We had a winter storm today

It snowed over night here in NJ and most of the day. My Russell said it was a waste of a storm since he is on his last day of February School vacation. HA HA... I had to laugh. And yes, I MADE HIM SHOVEL! I did a little shoveling too, just to get outside for some fresh air.

So all you tie buyers...you have done a bang up job so far this season. Thank you and lets see if we can get more orders out the door ASAP! I'm here for you!

Emily called last night to say that her new roommate who she is dorming with next year (yup -- the kids are already picking their dorm rooms for the new school year -- WHERE THE HECK IS THE TIME GOING?) But to finish the story, the school has a raffle each year. The winner of the raffle gets FIRST CHOICE OF DORM BUILDING AND ROOM! Out of over 3,000 entrants, yup you guessed it, the girl Em is rooming with WON THE RAFFLE! When Emily called last night I could hear it in her voice how excited she was! The girls are of course picking the most luxurious dorm room on campus! (I'm sure that will cost us plenty!) BUT HOW FUNNY/LUCKY IS THAT? Which reminds me, I never got out to buy my lottery ticket and the drawing is tonight!

So on that note, I will close and drive down my steep hill to the nearest lottery dealer. HOPE I'M A WINNER -- YEAH RIGHT -- IT'S THE BIG LOTTERY IN 12 STATES! But hey, a girl can dream -- right?!
