Yippee...Saturday is here! I slept LATE (7:42am)! First I woke up at 4:00am to the sound of our smoke detector in the kitchen and that it was FREEEEEEZING in the house. Well our furnace was out of water (whatever that means) and the RED LIGHT was on, meaning NO HEAT! So who got up to fill the furnace - yep that would be me! I couldn't deal with the detector beep and by a miracle the beeping stopped once we got heat. What's that all about?

Got up feeling rested and what did I do after having breakfast (homemade coffee cake)? I worked - just a little.

I ran a couple of little errands and came home for lunch. Right before I made my sandwich my friend called saying she was coming down my way and would I like to go for lunch! YIPPEE (again). So off we went and had a nice afternoon.

I was just knitting - trying to relax...but now it's time for Russ's indoor baseball practice. Guess I'm going (45 minute ride) since I don't feel like sitting home alone.

OH look at that picture of Gordie...doesn't he look so cozy! Not a care in the world! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
